When did You lose You?

That loving child, that trusting child, that happy child,

A child of laughter, adventure, curiosity,

A child with a ferocious appetite for life?

Life has a way of enhancing our joy

Or siphoning our strength;

Bringing smiles to our heart, or sadness to our souls.

Ever since the fall (Genesis 3) the internal conflict has raged.

The True You was displaced, removed from the

Garden where true intimacy with JEHOVAH GOD was Our portion,

A place of wholeness, provision, relationship as

Sons and Daughters of Our Creator,

Our purpose to fellowship with the One True GOD,

Our Father.

Thus began Our Identity crisis; the first recorded Identity

Theft (Genesis 3);

If Our belief is not strong, it is easier to go wrong;

Adam and Eve did not pass the Test,

They were talked out of their Identity,

They did not know who they really were.

Life has taken from You and Me

The things in the beginning We Believed.

The disappointments have caused us to stop reaching,

To settle in the valley of despair.

I have Good News —- JEHOVAH GOD sent HIS SON

JESUS to reconcile, restore, revive, reestablish,

To forever resolve our Identity crisis.

Back to The FATHER

Through The SON

The battles over the

Victory is WON

Our relationship restored

Our Identity renewed

Because GOD in

HIS Goodness

Gave JESUS for Me and You.

“Therefore the redeemed of The Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” Isaiah 51:11
